  • 200 ml milk any kind, I like almond or coconut
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 bananas mashed
  • 50 g crunchy peanut butter
  • For the Toppings:
  • 20 g chocolate chips
  • 20 g peanut butter chips

Instructions

  • Prep the Ingredients.
Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add the oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and peanut butter. Stir everything until well combined.

Gradually pour in the milk, stirring as you go. Make sure the mixture is evenly combined and has a thick, sticky consistency.

  • Add the Toppings.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips evenly over the top of the mixture.
  • Bake.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the oat bars for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is firm and slightly golden.

Let the bars cool for a few minutes before slicing them into six equal portions.
  • Store and Serve.
Keep the bars in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days. Enjoy them warm with a dollop of fat-free yogurt or cold as a quick grab-and-go snack.

Notes

  • Mix Evenly: Make sure the ingredients are well mixed to avoid dry spots in the bars.
  • Don’t Overbake: Keep an eye on the bars while baking to ensure they stay moist.
  • Cool Before Slicing: Allow the bars to cool slightly to make slicing easier and prevent them from crumbling.
